Apple is reportedly in talks to acquire Beats Electronics in a deal worth $3.2 billion. Beat electronics, the high-end-headphone maker co-founded by hip-hop artist Dr. Dre, according to the Financial Times. The report says, the deal is expected to be announced as early as next week , but has yet to be finalized and could still fail to materialize pending discussions between the two companies via @Cnet

Future iPhones Could Capture ‘Super-Resolution’ Photos Using Optical Image Stabilization

On Thursday, the US Patent & Trademark Office published Apple patent application number 20140125825 that describes a method of producing super-resolution images using optical image stabilization (OIS) and burst-mode photos. Google Buys Stackdriver, a Cloud Monitoring Service Provider

Google announced on Thursday that it has acquired cloud monitoring service Stackdriver. In the coming months, the search giant plans to roll many of the service’s features into its Cloud Platform. However, the financial details of the acquisition weren’t disclosed, but the company has raised a total of $15 million in venture funding in two rounds led by Bain Capital and Flybridge Capital respectively via @Techcrunch
